Betty Myers, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Myers grew up surrounded by her best friends – her animals. Her early love of horses blossomed into countless hours spent rising through Pony Club and competing in dressage and eventing with her first horse Cinnamon. Her study of horses included in-depth first aid, which was what led her to a love of veterinary medicine. Dr. Myers attended Davidson College where she graduated with a degree in Fine Art and the courses necessary to apply for veterinary school. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, one year behind Dr. Watts. Before joining CCVC, Dr. Myers had extensive practice experience in Ruckersville, Culpeper, Sperryville, and Middleburg. Many of her loyal clients have followed her to our practice. Dr. Myers has clinical interests in surgery, acupuncture, the growing knowledge about cats and their specific needs, and senior animal care. She is also adept at integrating herbal and nutritional therapies into her patients’ treatment.

Dr. Myers is a long-time resident of Rappahannock County and enjoys hiking, gardening, writing, weight-lifting and martial arts in her free time. She delights in her family of 4 rescued cats and 2 beautiful yellow labs.
